Smelting Iron Ores

As I was mining coal, I realised I had 771 iron ores in my bank. So, I ran to the bank, stored my Addy pickaxe, 12 coals and an uncut sapphire. I after I've cut the sapphire, I took a full batch of iron ores and went to the furnace and smelted them. Here are the results:

Batch 1 = 16 iron bars
Batch 2 = 11
Batch 3 = 15
Batch 4 = 10
Batch 5 = 13
Batch 6 = 15

Total = 80 iron bars /168 attempted

Mining coal

I went to mine at the Dwarven Mines in Falador today to train my Mining and Smithing level. I've decided to mine coal and iron ores to make steel bars until my Mining level is 50 and Smithing 45. I've found that I can mine 28 coal in 20 minutes and about 3 batches of iron ore in the same amount of time.

Easter Event 2009

RuneScape Easter Event 2009: Splitting Heirs

To start the event, speak to the Easter Bunny North of Rimmington. This year, the EB has a problem - his factory is in a mess. Once you are in the rabbit hole, find the factory and speak to his lazy son, Easter Bunny Jr. He will tell you to go in his dad's office and read the to-do list.. There are 4 things that need to be done to get the factory up and running: Feed the Easter Bird, round-up the implings, fix the incubator and retrain the squirrels.

Jumping Cabbages

Today, as I was walking by the cabbage farm south of Falador, I saw the last thing you would expect to see in RuneScape (or anyplace for that matter): Jumping cabbages. And that's not all. When you kick, tap or try to pick them, they talk as well. Thinking they were special, I tried to pick one. I couldn't. I asked someone nearby how'd he got his cabbage he was wielding. He brought me to a cabbage that was no different to the others - except that instead of having a tap/kick or pick option, it had a catch option. This time, I got the cabbage. I tried eating one of but the same quote appeared - You eat the cabbage. Yuck!. There doesn't seem to be anything special about them, but I'm keeping 3 in my bank just in case...
