Christmas Event and Quest 2008

The 2008 Christmas Event is available to all players for 2 weeks, after which it will stop. The 2008 Christmas Quest is available to all players for 2 weeks, after which it will become members-only. (Pics are in the next post)

Event: Jack Frost (Prince Jack to you and me) has escaped from The Land of Snow and is planning to ice everything. Your job is to stop him before he does this. Talk to the the Head Snow Imp (In North of Lumbridge, Falador, and Rimmington) to start this event. Rewards: Melt and Freeze emote, Ice amulet, Santa top, bottom, gloves, and boots (if you're "wondering where's the hat?" and you have a few million gp in you're bank, then head over to GE to buy it).

Quest: Explorer whatshisnameagain? has been told by a Snow Imp that there are some precious stones in the Land of Snow. Your mission is to get those stones and give him it. Rewards: 1 Quest Point and 500xp lamp.

Finally my Ranged lvl is 20!!!!

Today I got my Ranged lvl to 20. Yes!!! I now can wear studded chaps and leatherbody (which I bought at the GE). I can also use Willow bow. Check out my new Ranged gear:

Today's activities <14-12-2008>

I went to the GE to get some Iron Arrows. I bought 100 of them for 1200gp. Then I got 26 Bronze Arrows from the bank, went to the room next to the Black Arms Gang's hideout, and continued my Ranged training on the man inside. I got my Ranged to level 18.

I just continued training my Rangedn until it was level 15.

Today's activities <12-12-2008>

Today, while I was killing Hill Giants, a level 79 Shade appeared. It had happened once before, so I'm not unfamiliar with it. The battle didn't last long and I killed it. When my Defence level went up (by killing HGs), I went to get 100 Bronze Arrows, my Oak Bow and some other stuff to train my Ranged level. I went to the house west of Varrock West Bank (the one where Juliet is) and trained my Ranging on the Man on the ground floor (I couldn't be bothered to train somewhere else). I had trained my Ranged level to 13.

Today's activities <11-12-2008>

Today I just continued yesterday's activities which was killing Hill Giants. It was very good because I had obtained a 38 Big Bones, Nature Runes, and loads of other things. I also advanced a level in Strength, Hitpoints, and in Prayer.

Today's activities <10-12-2008>

Today I went to the Hill Giants' Dungeon to train my Attack, Defence, Strength, and Prayer. I had ran out of Lobsters on the last trip so I bought 6 (accidentally ate one otw) of them at the GE. Todays trip was good but I had hoped for more Limpwurt Roots instead of just 3. But in terms of Big Bones and levels, it was very good as I had buried 28 Big Bones and advanced a Def level and Combat level.
